Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen is one of Africa’s finest film maker. He shares more about telling the African story from the perspective of Africa. He uses the story of the Ancient Benin kingdom, one known for her rich heritage as a tool in explaining why Africans and the world should learn the truth of her existence and her identity as a continent. He is one of Africa’s finest movie producer who has done justice in telling the story of the people with movies. This is seen in his various projects including INVASION 1897 and more. He is a promoter of the Bini Cultural and Historical stories and an advocate for local contents in Africa. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
