Meet L.O.I

Edo state born Nigerian Ace Film Producer/Director per excellence with almost 25 years of experience and a founding member of the Directors’ Guild of Nigeria (DGN), Ambassador Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen is the first Nigerian Filmmaker to be a guest on CNN (Screening Room) May/June, 2009.

Lancelot, popularly known in Nollywood and his admirers as ‘De Guvnor’ is the CEO of Lancelot Imasuen Media Network (LIMN). A frontline entertainment and commercial production enterprise with headquarters in Lagos and Benin City.

Ambassador Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen was born in June 20th 1971 and hails from Urhokuosa town of Uhunmwonde Local Government Area, Edo State of Nigeria into the family of Chief and Mrs. Godwin Imasuen. He attended Oguola Primary School and Eghosa Grammar School in Benin City. He then proceeded to the famous University of Port Harcourt to study Theatre Arts.

His passion for art started from his involvement in secondary school dramatic Society, Literary and Debating Societies as Well as his involvement with Gospel Drama Productions in Church.

He later Joined Earthpot Kulture, a Professional theatre Company based in Benin City.
